The Poly-Kor Model features flexible rubber honeycomb-box extrusions permanently
adhesive-bonded to color ABS facings and a flexible shock-absorbing foam core. This
enables a semi-rigid door-body that is surprisingly resilient and shock-absorbing and,
therefore, durable.
The door-body is secured to the full-height shaft, stile and gravity-action cam
with full-height aluminum mounts. The mounts prevent the diagonal cracking of the
door-body and of the door facings that is common with other rigid traffic doors. They also
distribute the stress of impact over the entire door. 3/4" rise cams are standard.
The Poly-Kor is our heavy-duty plastic door for very high volume traffic
applications where excellent longevity and good aesthetics for doors are needed. The
Poly-Kor is "the best value" door, providing the best balance between
durability, appearance and price.
